This is for adults who never went to school or never went far. At level 1, learners are learning to read and write, whiles at level 3 there is comprension of Grade 6. At Peter Lengene CLC we have nurturing staff that aims to fight illeteracy in society.
When a learner have successfully completed AET Level 4, they receive the General Certificate and Training Certificate (GETC) issued by the Department of Education and UMalusi. This is a qualification that enables a learner to seek employment, go TVET College or proceed to Grade 12 (Senior Certificate Qualification.
Adult learners who are 21 years or older who did not reach Grade 12 at school or who completed AET Level 4 or Grade 12 learner whose matric portfolio has expired may study towards Grade 12 ASC.
Peter Lengene CLC has produced many notable people who went on do great things.
This is for the youth who have done their matric within the last 4 years at school and have not made it or wish to upgrade their results. Their matric portfolio is valid for 5 years including their matric year. No portfolio will be re-done. At Peter Lengene CLC we do not re-do the Grade 12 portfolios.
We exist to fight elliteracy in society, give second chance to those who dropped out of school and offer recent matriculants an opportunity to improve their results:
Sipho 'Hotsticks Mabuse, a student and patron of Peter Lengene CLC was bestowed with the National Order of Ikhamanga in Silver. We are very proud.
Registration of Grade 12 Senior Certificate began in August and closes on the 31 January 2019.
Grade 12 NCS admission has begun and examinations will be in November 2019.
AET Level 4 learner admission is currently taking place for new students. Returning students will be writing their supplementary exams in May 2019.
